Abstract:[Purposes] The paper aims to explore the problems of low efficiency and poor accuracy of diagnosis methods of current construction process rework event cause.[Methods] Taking the analytical method of system thinking as the framework, the process rework cause system was constructed; Introducing the fuzzy theory into the fault tree, the probability of the basic events was quantified; The bidirectional inference algorithm of Bayesian network was used to calculate, and the cause system was comprehensively analyzes according to the importance degree of the root node; Finally, an analysis method based on fuzzy fault tree and Bayesian network was proposed.[Findings] When the probability of the process rework is high in the system, the rework events are ranked from strong to weak in order of cause: unqualified construction materials, material damage caused by improper on-site storage, low technical level of professional construction personnel and replacement of construction equipment.[Conclusions] Most of the rework events of construction projects can be located and identified by management analysis method, which will provide a certain guarantee for the overall quality, cost and duration of construction projects.
