In order to analyze the hotspots of BIM research in the field of engineering project management,based on the literature of CNKI database from 2008 to 2017,using Ucinet software, a mapping knowledge domain of BIM research hotspots in the field of project management was constructed. Using co-word analysis and social network analysis and other research methods,the network density,degree centrality and cohesive subgroup analysis were researched. The results show that: the key words are closely linked,forming a knowledge map centered on BIM and project management,and forming fewer factions;there are four hotspots of BIM research in the field of engineering project management: BIM application scope,management methods,interoperability and software application.
