A bus disptching model was proposed for the purpose of minimizing the passengers' and agency's costs.The ideas of Simulated Annealing extending are introduced to GA and to develop IGA.Then the theories and methods are studied to apply the IGA on bus disptching.Test results indicated that this improved Genetic Algorithm can improve the premature and slow evolution speed phenomenon greatly.
